East Surrey Museum blog

East Surrey Museum is a lovely little museum with both permanent and seasonal exhibitions. I am so lucky to have moved from my childhood town of Forest Hill (hilly, green, vibrant, London, historical) to Caterham, (more hills, more green, increasingly vibrant, animals, historical) and from the lovely Horniman Museum to the lovely East Surrey Museum.

Johanna Gummet is the curator of the museum and has been there almost a year and has made some wonderful leaps forward to getting the museum the attention is very much deserves.

If you live in or fairly near to Caterham it’s worth a visit. There’s much historical pottering to do.
