Taking a stroll: Happy Valley Walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care

Happy Valley is a truly wonderful place. I love walking there and am starting to cycle there, it calms me when I need it, keeps me happy, is full of mostly lovely people walking there dogs, just having a walk, enjoying the lovely views and you’ll see horse riserd, bunnies, beautiful butterflies, wild flowers, trees, green, green and more green, and it’s not far from Farthing Downs (cows, history), Chaldon Church (sweet, small, very old, worth looking round) and Coulsdon Common – oh and The Fox pub (yummy food, lovely pub, sweet doggies outside).

And of course the Happy Valley Walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care:

“Those who would like a light stroll can take on the three mile walk, while for the more adventurous there is the seven mile route. Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for children.

As well as taking part in a family day out, you‚ll have the knowledge that every step you take will help provide more nursing care for terminally ill people and their families.”
